Looking down from the tea balcony at the British Empire Exhibition in Wembley Park, showing people walking about the site and a 'Railodock' electric bus passing a garden in the foreground. The British Empire Exhibition opened on St George's Day 1924 with the aim of stimulating trade and strengthening bonds between the countries of the British Empire. The Railodock bus shown in the foreground was an electric bus used to transport people between the different exhibition buildings on the site.
