The Mall, City of Westminster, Greater London Authority, 1919. A view of pedestrians and cars on The Mall in front of Buckingham Palace. In the centre is the King's Stand erected around the Queen Victoria Memorial. This photograph is one of a group the photographer took on the 18th, 21st & 23rd July 1919 recording the peace decorations that had been erected in London for Peace Day and the Victory March, 19th July 1919, in celebration of the end of World War 1.
