Ye Old Fighting Cocks, Abbey Mill Lane, St Albans, Hertfordshire, 1928. A view along the south-west side of Ye Old Fighting Cocks pub, showing part of the octagonal timber framed building, a pent extension and overhanging inn sign, with two women walking along the adjacent footpath. The spelling of the pub name has subsequently changed to Ye Olde Fighting Cocks. The building is also known as The Olde Round House, or at the time of the photograph as Ye Old Round House.
