A Riding-House, published 1780. Men learning to ride horses. A short man on the right, about to mount his horse, has been identified as Captain Grose. In the centre stands the riding-master, pointing with hand and cane. A dog barks, alarming the horses, as another man in a clerical wig runs across the room in alarm.
