Princess Elizabeth (future Queen Elizabeth II) and her younger sister Princess Margaret Rose, members of the Buckingham Palace Company of Girl Guides, send a message by carrier pigeon to Lady Baden-Powell on her birthday. 20 February was also the birthday of her husband, the late Lord Baden-Powell, founder of the Scouting movement.
