Beverly Page Yates, half-length portrait, facing slightly right, seated at table, holding rolled piece of paper, between 1856 and 1858. Yates was vice president of Liberia. He served as the Associate Justice of Liberia and the Judge of the Court of Quarter Sessions and Common Pleas for Montserrado County. He helped found the Ancient, Free, and Accepted Masons, in 1867.
