Interior of the Church of St Bavo in Haarlem, 1636. Other Title(s): Seen from the South Ambulatory, Looking across the Choir to the North Ambulatory and the Large Organ. The Grote Kerk (or St.-Bavokerk) was consecrated as a cathedral in 1559. It was confiscated during the Haarlemse noon in 1578, when it was converted to Protestantism.
