Ceiling painting of mythological figures, c.1676-c.1682. Lower left quarter of a circular ceiling painting depicting Diana and her companions in the central section. De Lairesse painted this five-part ceiling decoration for the Great Hall of Soestdijk Palace, used by William III as his hunting lodge. The scene of Diana, the goddess of the hunt, alludes to this.
