'The Right Honourable the Speaker of the House of Commons gave his last Parliamantary full-dress dinner on Saturday evening, the 14th of March, at his mansion in Eaton-square...his farewell Levee...was attended by nearly every member now in London, some hon. members having come hack from their constituencies on purpose to pay this last tribute of respect to the right hon. gentleman'.
