The Storming of Delhi, the Cashmere Gate, 1857. 'This spirited Engraving, from an original Sketch, represents tha exciting scene of the storming of Delhi, at the Cashmere gate, by our brave troops. The name of the young hero, Salkeld, of the Engineers, who fixed and fired the charge which blew in the gate, will be ever memorable in connection with this daring and brave achievement'.
