The Raikes, Raikes Lane, Great Lever, Bolton, 1860-1874. The exterior of The Raikes with two children playing croquet on the front lawn. Photographed between 1860 and 1874. Believed to be the house marked as Raikes at NGR SD on O.S. 1:2500 mapping of 1929. It had been demolished by O.S. survey of 1937.
