The Prince of Wales '...dined with Sir Philip Wodehouse [Governor of Bombay], whom he thanked for his hospitality, and said he should never cease to think with pleasure of the visit begun and ended at Bombay. The final leave-taking, however, was deferred to the Monday, when the farewell address from Bombay was presented to the Prince of Wales on board the Serapis.
