'The death of this esteemed French Liberal politician, who held the office of Minister of the Interior, was mentioned by our Paris correspondent last week. The funeral ceremony...[was held] at the Church of St. Augustine, previous to the removal of his body to Niort, in the Gironde, where he was born and was to be interred...He was a consistent Moderate Republican throughout his life, and a very trustworthy and useful man...M.
