Fashions for November - Robe of White Crape over a slip of White Satin, 1858. 'The robe has a double skirt trimmed with ruches of blonde, four rows on the lower and three on the upper skirt. The corsage is plain, and pointed in front and at the back. Over it is a fichu Antoinette, covered with ruches of blonde, through the midst of which there runs a wreath formed of honeysuckle and pink azalea. The upper skirt is gathered up at each side by a chatelaine of the same flowers. Odalisque sleeves, gathered up in front of the arm by bouquets of honeysuckle and azalea. A narrow cordon of the same flowers passes across the upper part of the forehead, and full bouquets are disposed at the back of the head. Bracelets set with diamonds and pink topaz'.
