Statues of Goethe and Schiller at Weimar, 1858. Sculpture of German writers and dramatists Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Friedrich Schiller. 'Rietschel, the Dresden sculptor, who was selected to execute these statues, has appropriately represented them grasping the same crown of laurel.
