Part of the Vault of the Temple of Minerva Medica in Rome, c.1809-c.1812. Fragment showing a section of the vault of the Temple of Minerva Medica, which matches up with another fragment that incongruously features the basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano in the distance. Together the three portions still do not form a complete image. There is a missing fourth part, which passed through the salerooms in 2002.
