Punishment of the slanderer, 1777. The slanderer is depicted on the one hand as a dung fly being hunted by a swallow. On the other hand, a man stands at the pillory in a Dutch summer landscape, while others poke and throw things at him. Body hanging from gallows at right. With inscription.
