Nitta Yoshisada(1301-1338) threw a floating bridge over a swollen river to let his troop escape from the enemy. When Yoshisada and his senior vassal Funada Yoshimasa were crossing over the bridge, the rope broke suddenly. Instantly Yoshisada held Yoshimasa and both jumped to the opposite shore..
