Livre d'heures d'après les manuscrits de la Bibliothèque royale [colour facsimile], 1846. This book is a reproduction based on several French books of hours - medieval books of personal prayers. Fittingly, its binding - a cross surrounded by interlace work - evokes medieval designs, which were popular during the 19th century. It is also a rare early example of the work of the bookbinding firm Gruel.
