Donor, Virgin and Child, c1480-90. Two pages from the Hours of Duke Adolph of Cleves. On the right is the Virgin Mary suckling the infant Christ, and on the left a man wearing a suit of armour kneels in prayer. This is possibly a portrait of the book's owner, Adolph of Cleves.
