'...Illustration of the buildings at Yarmouth fronting the sea, showing the late improvements. The view, which extends as far as the Britannia Pier, was taken from the platform of the 0ld Jetty, and comprises within that space those most recently erected, the most conspicuous of which, nearly in the centre, being the Sailor Home - a striking and noble building'.
