The International Exhibition: Burgess and Key's grain-mower, 1862. 'Although [Messrs. Burgess and Key's] magnificent display of medals, earned on many hard-fought fields, has been carried off to the melting- pot by burglars the machines are now too well known in this and other countries to render the loss as important as it is irreparable. As some three thousand of them are now employed in laying low the golden crops of the United Kingdom, most of our readers must be acquainted with them, and but little description is needed to make the accompanying Engraving comprehensible'.
