Testimonial to Capt. Inglefield, R.N., from the Mercantile Marine Service Association of Liverpool, 1864. Sir Edward Augustus Inglefield (1820-1894) was a Royal Navy officer who led one of the searches for the missing Arctic explorer John Franklin during the 1850s. In doing so, his expedition charted previously unexplored areas along the northern Canadian coastline. From "Illustrated London News", 1864.
