The Very Rev. Arthur Penrhyn Stanley, D.D., the new Dean of Westminster, 1864. Engraving from a photograph by John and Charles Watkins. 'He was for many years Chaplain to the Prince Consort, and on the Prince of Wales forming his establishment he became Chaplain to his Royal Highness. He accompanied the Prince to the East, and has published a volume of sermons preached in the Holy Land, with some interesting notes of the tour. He is also examining Chaplain to the Bishop of London'. From "Illustrated London News", 1864.
