Illustrations of the War in Denmark: [Austrian] artillery baggage-waggons encamped near Kolding, 1864. 'It will be remembered that the town of Kolding is on the frontier of Jutland and Schleswig, and Veile is a short day's inarch to the north of it. The road, for two thirds of this distance, goes straight across a bare, monotonous plain, with scarcely a village upon it. Near Veile it is diversified by hills, ravines, and woods, sloping towards the south-east, where the town stands, at the head of its small fiord or inlet of the sea, in a snug and sheltered situation'.
