The Daily Telegraph Prize shot for at Wimbledon, 1865. 'The accompanying Illustration represents the prize given by the proprietors of the Daily Telegraph, value fifty guineas, and which has been won by Corporal Little, of the West Middlesex. This cup, manufactured by Mr. Benson, of Ludgate-hill, is vase-shaped, with chased designs in the centre from the antique. The cover of the cup is surmounted by a rifleman standing, "order arms;" and the handles are two angels, holding victorious wreaths, in frosted silver; the whole being remarkable for the chasteness and elegance of the design'.
