The new Wesleyan Chapel, at Aston Villa, Lozells, Birmingham, 1865. 'The Wesleyan Methodists of Birmingham have lately built themselves a new place of worship at Aston Villa, in Lozells, a suburb of that town. It was opened, on the last day of May, with special services for the occasion, and there was a festive repast in the adjoining school-room. We give an Illustration of the new building, which has cost £4000. Its foundation-stone was laid by Mr. Naish, a member of the Town Council, in April last year. Mr. J. G. Bland was the architect employed. This is the second new chapel which has been opened at Birmingham within the last six months by the same active and zealous religious body'.
