Germans at Princeton -- Weitzer - Lt. Reichenau - Dr. Bemer [i.e., Berner] - Carl Diem, between c1910 and c1915. Shows Germans who visited the United States in 1913 in preparation for the planned 1916 Berlin Olympics, which were cancelled due to World War One. Included are: (left to right) Josef Waitzer (1884-1966), a German track and field athlete and trainer; military officer Walter von Reichenau (1884-1942); sports writer Dr. Martin Berner; and sports administrator Carl Diem (1882-1962). Diem later became chief organizer of the 1936 Olympic Summer Games.
