American Gangster John Dillinger Behind Bars, 1930s. Dillinger (1903-1934) commanded the Dillinger Gang, which was accused of robbing twenty-four banks and four police stations. He was imprisoned several times and escaped twice. From "Time To Remember - The Tough Guys", 1930s (Reel 2); documentary film, mainly about life in depression- and gangster-hit America.
