Testimonial to the Rev. Edward Balston, D.D., late head-master of Eton College, 1868. A '...silver, parcel-gilt classical tankard...given by the boys...as a token of regard and esteem...[and] heartfelt gratitude... The cover is surmounted by a seated figure of Minerva, the Goddess of Wisdom, and the handle springs from a head of Jupiter...The side is decorated with a bas-relief, illustrative of Education...The tankard was manufactured by Mr. J.
