The Horse-Show at the Agricultural Hall Islington [in London]: trying the hunters, 1868. 'The leading horse at the leap is Captain Heygate's Mountain Dew, which won the £80 first prize for heavy-weight hunters. To left hand of Mountain Dew is the Prince of Wales's Knight of St. Patrick, to which the £25 second prize for hunters was awarded. The third horse, shown in the foreground, is Mr. Hornby's Lady Derwent, which gained the £50 first prize for hunters, and gold medal as the best hunter in the show. Another is rearing behind...The award in favour of Mountain Dew was rather disputed'. From "Illustrated London News", 1868.
