'Portraits of her Majesty's five principal Secretaries of State - George Frederick William, fourth Earl of Clarendon, Secretary for Foreign Affairs [top left]; Granville George Leveson Gower, second Earl Granville, Secretary for the Colonies [bottom left]; Mr. Henry Austin Bruce, Secretary for the Home Department [centre]; Mr. Edward Cardwell, Secretary for the War Department [bottom right]; and the George Douglas Campbell, eighth Duke of Argyll, Secretary for India [top right]...The Portrait of Earl Granville is engraved from a photograph by Mr. S.
