"Rebecca at the Well," sculpture, by W. H. Reinhart, 1869. 'Among the many studios of foreign sculptors in Rome which are visited by travelling connoisseurs, that of Mr. W. H. Reinhart deserves notice, as containing some works of the highest merit. We have selected for an Illustration one statue by him, which is characterised by a particular degree of grace and beauty - namely, his "Rebecca at the Well." It may be observed that his "Antigone" is owned to be a no less masterly production, in the pure Greek style of art'. From "Illustrated London News", 1869.
