The Disturbances in Paris: arrest of M. Rochefort, 1870. 'It was at half-past eight o'clock that M. Rochefort was arrested, just as he was about to attend the public meeting which was to be held in the Rue de Flandres, in the first electoral circumscription, in the so-called Salle de la Marseillaise. He made no resistance, and was taken to the prison of La Pelagie'. From "Illustrated London News", 1870.
