Patera with Silver Incrustation, 1st century A.D. Additional Info: The bowl of this bronze patera is decorated with incised concentric bands and a single band of ivy wreath, half of each leaf inlaid with silver. A single elaborate decorative handle is attached to the rim with an ornament combining a voluted floral motif and the heads of two long-billed water birds whose features are incised.
