Amphoriskos, 1st century A.D. Additional Info: Mold-blown amphoriskos of opaque white glass. The seam marks indicate that it was blown in a five-part mold. Its cylindrical body is adorned with an ivy frieze between ribbed decorations. The flat base is impressed with concentric circles. The cylindrical neck ends with an outsplayed mouth and lip folded inwards. Two blue handles with elbows have been applied on the shoulder and drawn up to the middle of the neck.
