Amphoriskos, 3rd-4th century A.D. Additional Info: Free-blown amphoriskos of blue-green glass. The vessel has an applied foot; a squat, spherical body; a long, narrow neck; and a flaring rim folded over the inside edge. Two handles connect the shoulder to mid-neck. They are folded over so that the thread trails back along the handle. Above where the handles meet the neck is a thick thread wrapped around the neck. The vessel is heavily weathered, giving it a gold color with a high iridescence.
