Flask, 1st century A.D. Additional Info: Ribbon flask free-blown from a single cane of opaque white flanked by clear glass. The length of cane was wrapped around a gather of golden brown amber glass before blowing. The cane begins at the rim and was then spiraled at an angle around the body, becoming progressively wider at the shoulder and more compact toward the base, terminating on the underside of the object.
