Flask, 1st century A.D. Additional Info: Roman core-formed flask of dark blue (cobalt) and opaque white glass. Its teardrop-shaped body rests on a flattened base. The tall cylindrical neck (reassembled) is slightly constricted at its base, ending with a disk-like rim. A combination of mosaic and blown glass, the lengths of cane were assembled and susequenlty free blown to achieve the vessle's shape.
