Head Flask, A.D. 100-200. Additional Info: Mold-blown head flask of pale green glass, the body blown in a two-part mold in the shape of the head of a bearded man following the sculptural type of a philosopher. The body of the vessel rests on a flat base with a pontil-mark. The neck and rim were free blown. The tall flaring neck ends with a lip folded inwards.
