Flask, 3rd-4th century A.D. Additional Info: This free-blown flask is made of pale bluish green glass. Its bulbous body with a flattened shoulder rests on a slightly concave base with a pontil-mark. The shoulder is decorated with etched diagonal lines. A Greek inscription (modern?) has been etched on the body. The cylindrical neck ends with a funnel-like mouth and lip folded inwards. An iridescent sheen and dark accretions cover one side of this flask.
