Flask, about A.D. 75. Additional Info: Flask of pale green glass blown into a four-part mold. The flask is cylindrical with a long, tapering neck and no rim. The body is decorated in relief with three bacchic figures separated by free-standing columns. They are: Bacchus with a thyrsus and panther; a silenus with a wine skin, and Pan with a shepherd's crook. The vessel is very heavily weathered with a strong purple iridescence. Corrosion has eliminated most of the facial features of the figures.
