Jug, 1st century A.D. Additional Info: Free blown jug from an opaque blue glass, possibly inflated into a mold and the shape finalized by marvering. The handle was separately attached by first touching the gather to the rim, then pulling it out and down to the shoulder, then pulling a small thread back up towards the rim. Some cold work with a file gave the jug its final shape. Surface and structure are in very good condition.
