Oinochoe, 1st century A.D. Additional Info: This mold-blown oinochoe is made of purple glass. The seam mark indicates that this oinochoe was blown in a two-part mold. The spherical ribbed body rests on a flat foot. The cylindrical neck ends with an outsplayed mouth. An olive-green handle has been applied one the shoulder and drawn up to the lip. The surface presents some discoloration, iridescence, dark accretions, and flaking. Small chips are missing on the body.
