Miniature pot with bronze handle, 1st-2nd century A.D. Additional Info: A small, free-blown, opaque-black pot with a bronze handle. The bronze thread is wrapped around the neck and fused to the vessel. Two separately made bronze clasps hold the horseshoe-shaped handle. The bottom of the vessel is uneven and contains a large pontil mark. Weathering has caused iridescence on the inside and around the mouth.
