Casket presented to Prince Christian by the Corporation of Windsor, 1871. 'The presentation of an address from the Mayor and Corporation of Windsor, with the freedom of the Royal borough, to the husband of Princess Helena, his Royal Highness Prince Christian of Schleswig-Holstein, took place last November. But the casket in which it was contained, and which is represented in our Engraving, was an elegant thing of its kind; and it is not yet too late to show its merits as an ornamental object. It was designed by Mr. Alfred Young Nutt, of the Office of Works in Windsor Castle; the carving and other workmanship were done by Messrs. Halliday and Stinton, of Windsor'. From "Illustrated London News", 1871.
