Additional Info:The prayer D[eu]s qui nos redemptionis nostre (God who [cheers] us by our redemption) opens with an elegant decorated initial composed of swirling vine tendrils. The rubric in red on the top right of the page indicates that the prayer is said at Mass on the day before the commemoration of Jesus' birth, that is, on Christmas Eve.
