Fragmentary Winged Lion, 6th century B.C. Additional Info: Upper part of figure preserved, including the head, shoulder and much of the wings. Some embellishment (incised lines to mark the wings and on the muzzle) on the surface, but much is worn. The lion's mouth is open, and a number of the teeth preserved. The wings curl back to form an open circle above the back.
