'Drake Climbed the Tree', c1929. '...the guides pointed out a tree on the dividing ridge, from the top of which they said a view could be obtained of both the North and the South Seas. According to his grandson, [Francis] Drake climbed the tree and besought Almighty God of His goodness to give him life and leaved to sail once in an English ship on that sea.
