The street called straight, Damascus, Syria, 1936. The Damascus Straight Street is the Roman street (Decumanus Maximus) that runs from east to west in the old city of Damascus, Syria. It was allegedly visited by St Paul as recorded in the book of Acts. From a private album of a passenger who undertook a cruise on the S.S. Arandora Star, which began 9th April, 1936.
